Client: W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.
Design Needs
Corporate in-house committee with a mission to keep Associates engaged and creative over the next five years utilizing strong branded wording and reinforced graphics displayed and presented throughout the eight Flagstaff, Arizona buildings. This included logos for each phase of the long-term project, presentation materials, posters, table tents for the lunch rooms, and GRIT Awards presented to the individuals and teams that performed the best over the duration of the campaign. The company provided copies of "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance" written by Angela Duckworth as a foundation of what they were attempting to achieve.
My Role
I was hired to create the entire visual identity and create a family of graphics and table tents supporting the organization's goals over the next five years.
My Process
Each year of the campaign had a different focus for completion, but all needed to be thought out and created at the start. Beginning with these goals, the team and I created imagery and samples of how each year could be represented successfully.
Posters
Proposed poster variations to support the objectives of the first year's campaign. Client chose the second set for consistency in brand and messaging instead of using visual depictions of famous individuals.
