Design Needs
A logo/label to represent charitable beer created by Dragoon Brewing Co. in Tucson, AZ to benefit the Tucson Fire Pipes & Drums, non-profit organization. Proceeds assist with travel expenses incurred for honor guard to attend funerals, memorials, and other solemn events in memory of fallen first responders throughout the United States. Printed as stickers, banners, shirts and other promotional merchandise.
Design Process
Reference the current brewery logo with the fire department's honor guard group imagery. Provided sketches and roughs to client.
Had to associate Dragoon Brewing Co. logo with the Tucson Fire Pipes and Drums Honor Guard (T.F.P. & D.) for special charity beer logo. Clients wanted visual references for both groups. Dragoon, a high-quality microbrewery and Tucson Fire Department's Honor Guard which perform at memorials, funerals, parades, and other local and out-of-state events, primarily for fallen first responders. Proceeds from the sale of the Tartan Ale will benefit the Pipes & Drums group to cover transporting expenses to these stoic dedications.

Prior to the finalization of the name of the beer, we knew that type of beer that it would be and began incorporating into the first round of electronic roughs. Bottom right may be used for future promotions, kindly referred to as the "Word Tartan" Logo.
Second Round: Tartan Ale applied to the maltese cross, tartan pattern and the distinctive Dragoon Brewing Co. Arrows.
Final Designs
Final versions on black and on white. To be printed on banners, stickers and t-shirts for promotional merchandise and advertising.
